I remember a time when "nudges" were in mainstream conversation - this is the idea that little changes in presentation of options can influence the outcome without actually taking away any of the options.
This part of behavioural science has to be behind all the deceptive patterns we see around us, online and offline, every day.
I just want to bring it back as something to be aware of. Read up about nudging and get more aware so you can catch it before they nudge you without your realising it.
