Before Labour came to power, I suggested their proposals for reforming the House of Lords (the second chamber) could be a lot more ambitious.
As the Lords continue to frustrate & obstruct Labour's legislative programme (sometimes for good reason, of course), it might be time to revisit my suggestions (published by North West Bylines (npub1gpm…ajeu) a year & half ago).
