I can't remember if I sold my Killer Instinct SNES cart but I remember thinking it was the coolest fighter ever. I loved how there was virtually no load times and you kept your life bar the same from round to round (unless you lost ofc). Riptor was my favorite character.
I've played the reboot from 2013 on Steam but I still like the SNES game more. Never played KI 2 or KI Gold on N64
