More children are being treated by the NHS for mental health difficulties; social media use among the young has surged.
An ongoing research project at Oxford U has found 'a linear relationship between higher rates of anxiety & depression and time spent networking on social media sites' (John Gallacher, who leads the study).
While more work is to be done, it adds to a growing suspicion that Big Tech plays a corrosive & damaging role in the lives of our young.
