let me propose that ideology and parties are not the way to go. that we get less hung up on free markets or socialism and just start talking about issues and policy like we're all decent people with diff info and experiences and priorities. that we recognize that in a republic we have to vote for somebody but that's always a compromise and integrity matters most. Congress is supposed to matter more than the president etc.
