YouTube Music recommended Alessandra Mussolini to my wife—the granddaughter of Benito Mussolini, and also a Fascist in her own right.
Trying to figure out why this *thing* was playing on my wife’s phone, I made a truly shocking discovery.
In 1982, Alessandra Mussolini made a city pop album called Amore. It was released in Japan only. And her song “Love is Love” even won a Silver award at the Tokyo Music Festival.
And now this Fascist’s city pop career is being revived in 2026 because Japan had to somehow make the Mussolini family more notable.
