it wasn't a bug. carto removed access to their api key for darkmode, so i rolled back to the dark mode I made a while back. it's good enough, but it's not ideal for my standard. i pushed the update to avoid giving people sunburn while driving by night, but i'll have to work to finesse it. in the meanwhile, update from the zapstore.
