Some of my early experiences in Software dev was working for a ISP and a cisco training company. so i've picked up a bit experience with networking.
With this news of the spicy hub site blocking Florida starting next year. Im curious, technically how they go about that? Are they using a service like MaxMind's GeoIP databases? Or is there some other method for ensuring a IP is actually used in a specific state. Is there a more accurate resource?
