Some more pictures from the Blue Ridge Tunnel. The interior is a constant 55 degrees F, and when we were there there was a steady, brisk breeze blowing from west to east. Water drips from walls and ceiling, occasionally as waterfalls emerging from fissures. We saw a few small creatures who had wandered in to see the sights: a lacewing and a tiny, very flappy moth. There were also quite a few humans walking and biking through the tunnel, some of the bikes pulling baby-toting trailers.
