Korea is now talking about a dumbphone ban in schools. At university level, there's been scandals of cheating with AI (yeah, like that's not expected).
In my classes, I have a strict, "no dumbphones unless I say they can be used for something specifically we're doing." A student, head down, tapping messages on their phone while I'm talking is like a fart in class to me.
