John Burn-Murdoch (FT) argues that while the UK brith rate has again declined, this decline is actually not general; linking birth data to data on political views, he concludes it is parents on the Left who are mostly having fewer children while families with conservative views are having as many children as before.
If this is broadly correct & knowing that children's political views are often shaped by their parents' beliefs, the Left may have a serous long term problem?
