I remember when our eldest was born it was a complicated birth and my wife needed me at home for the next two weeks. Finally forced to return to work I got chastised by a supervisor for “taking so much time off.”

Anyway, I’m glad that even though Mitch McConnell voted against paid parental leave, he gets to enjoy unlimited leave and health care on the taxpayer dime.
