I love irc for what it id but its limited in that its generally only for text chat (tho it does a damn fine job of it).

My greater goal is working towards a fully bitcoiner circular economy. Nostr is both communication and identity. It allows a single login to access incongruent services and ultimately tie them together as a single community/economic center.

Discord is a communications hub and the core innovation is simple managed channels. It allows a local community with many interests (and rabbit holes) to communicate in a single place without feeling spammed. Bitcoiners come from all walks of life and interests outside of bitcoin.

We need a decentralized discord.
