my parents live about 30 minutes from the university, so if needs must the kid can commute until a workable apartment comes up
so we're trying not to stress too much about it
but a lot of these apartments are really not nice enough to live in, just not getting maintained and having obvious problems
so when something workable comes up you want it to work out
