There is unfortunately a lot of users who have dead relays in their relay lists. Nostria has added filter for these in the app to avoid exhausting resources connecting to these. We also made a dedicated monitoring service that will monitor if they come back and to verify we don't add valid relays to the filter.
Please take a minute to check your relay list, it will help everyone on the network if you keep an up-to-date list of relays.
