Just watched the Odyssey. Really good. The music was fantastic. Action was pretty good. The enemies were portrayed well. The one complaint I had is the seven years Odysseus spent with that beautiful goddess. They watered it down to make it not seem like he was cheating. I don’t remember that from the original story. Also they made it seem like the queen and this irresistible goddess were equally beautiful. But the original story I recall was Odysseus choosing an imperfect limited life with a flawed wife over an endless life of comfort with a beautiful goddess. But it took him several years to realize that. This was completely removed from the movie which is why I can’t rate it more than 8.2/10. Still very solid.
