Yeah, even though probably there are hundreds of sub-communities, you could say that there is something like mainstream nostr (sic!) community, and in this sense I agree with you. But does this community need a consistent identity in the first place? Who are those potentially confused? The protocol is open, you can have normie nostr, cypherpunk nostr and whatever groups the users choose to form. Is that bad?
