Sitting in a park today the young man approach me asking for a cig.
Had none with me so politely told him a simple calm 'no', not implying whether I'm a smoker or not.

They needed just the tobacco for a joint - to roll a pot with it.

I saw entire group after this unsuccessful attempt, was the only person in park at the time, getting the tobacco, to walk around and started searching for a cig butts.

We have no war; the tobacco is easily obtainable, no need to smuggle this commodity and fight for it.
Yet they had none with them, clearly unable to prepare themselves for the ritual of rolling one, ending like homeless folks searching for a puff.

Somehow I have sympathy for the homeless yet this lack of basic skill within the youngsters - broccoli style hair, the cap on top sideways, popping up like they have a second midget skull under - somehow makes me feel disgusted.

Helping to it was the smirk on their faces as watched me looking at them.
Kind of suppressed rage, later eased by finally collecting enough to smoke one.
