It is no secret, that privacy is important for me.
And yes I am totally confortable to write directly to all kind of politicians. Why would I not?
Maby one day I can myself petition to become politician and argue for good privacy in parliament.

I agree on this. It is totally human to be overwhelmed. Since big coorporations have houndreds or thousands of paid fulltime developers to make their surveillancetools work.
ith free software often there is a hand ful of developers that use their freetime to make it work. And clearly it is much harder to build a working system based on hobby projects, that receive far less developer attention.
But still I feel it is a difficult but hard work to keep pushing the boundaries towards freedom. Because I expect noone to do it for me. Still I see others pushing for the same values. And am super greatful for it.
