I did figure it out. Half the interface flow for this procedure being in a drop down and half of it being in the feed interface is definitely mssy and confusing. I have to load a relay then add it, I can't just like, long press a relay and add it to one, or edit a combined feed and add relays.
Also I can't seem to delete combined feeds.
