News: Puma Shen (沈伯洋), the DPP candidate for Taipei Mayor, announced plans to visit former President Chen Shui-bian (陳水扁) and expressed openness to consulting former mayors, including Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九) and Ko Wen-je (柯文哲).
KMT Legislator Lai Shyh-bao (賴士葆) blasted the gesture as hypocritical, pointing out that Shen previously accused Ma of being a proxy for Chinese united front work and attacked Ko. Lai demanded that Shen issue a formal public apology to both men before using them as mere political props for votes.
My opinion: I’ve never seen anyone so fucking repulsive. He smears people left and right with wild accusations, and now that he needs votes, he turns around and pretends he wants to 'seek their advice.' The DPP has always run on this disgusting double standard. Especially Puma Shen, whose father was making money off Mainland China ever since he was a kid, raising him on "Red" money. Now he turns around, stokes anti-China hatred, and bans anyone else from having any contact with Mainland China, claiming anyone who does is a Communist shill.
