I agree with the diagnosis but I'm not sure I agree with the solution, essentially he's asking for the martyrdom of a few to bring everyone else into action. Trump's authoritarianism and disregard for the rule of law reminds me of that of fascism or Netanyahu's and in both cases non violent resistance didn't/doesn't work at all, while burning the only people who are active enough to take risks. I think the limits of soft popular power are close to being reached soon.
