No wonder he prefers an aspect ratio closer to a square.
Widescreen formats don't let you *really* center everything, because the height isn't there to fill the bottom & top around whatever is centered.
To me, The Odyssey trailer looks great in its original aspect ratio, but kind of bland & cramped in any other format because he simply doesn't seem to have framed or blocked things with widescreen in mind.
