It's mathematically impossible for any democracy to compete with a great dictator.
The more who are sharing in power of making decisions the worse will the result be.
This is why, even though we avoided some of the worst dictators, we also never had any great democracy. Instead all our nations power have slipped away to oligarchy and international stock exchange organisations.
Our leaders are intellectual dwarfs and we the people have lost all fate and respect for our leaders.
