Institutions underwrite bitcoins actual network operation, scarcity, and settlement.

On the flip side, retail underwrites narrative and participating in the movement that is bitcoin.

These are two different lenses. Does not make one right or wrong but you have to be able to understand and hold both perspectives. Social media whether it’s nostr or X is built around engagement not fundamentals. Just the reality.

I would venture to guess that the amount of bitcoin holders who actually post regularly is maybe 1-2%. And that’s probably generous. But the way social media works makes this small percentage feel like the total sentiment of the users. This is an illusion of urgency and threat. Yes these discussions matter but they are very niche to the greater ecosystem.
