Q. is the UK heading towards a situation that it has previously taken advantage of?
In the past the NHS has been happy to welcome doctors from other (poorer) countries seeking better pay & conditions... but now the same considerations are encouraging ever more UK trained doctors to seek better employment abroad.
A slow exodus of doctors makes solving the NHS crisis more difficult & suggests resisting Resident Doctors' pay demands may have longer term adverse effects!
