very hot. we ran our all-in-one httpd/ftpd/smtpd/popd/etc server on NetBSD around that time. iirc, it was the first time I had ever seen an “insert floppy and stream the OS install files via ftp” style install before, and blew my mind.
sounds like your operation was massive to necessitate that kind of specialized hardware. we ran ours entirely on a Gateway 2000 Pentium 90 tower😅
