I missed your poll but I'd have prevaricated over the options anyway. The "AI" acronym seems to have become a synonym for "LLM", which makes it difficult to discuss the possibilities and dangers of the underlying technology. In terms of funding, I sometimes think it is like George Stephenson demanding we cover the entire world with railways and mine all the coal in advance before they can even start to build a steam locomotive. LLMs are a shiny bauble to raise money.
