Well, at this point I guess I'll start giving updates on the current "planned" power outage by Xcel Energy.

It's 2:30am local time. This 2nd "planned" power outage in 3 days began at 5am local time yesterday. Power is still out with an estimated restoration time of noon tomorrow (this could possibly be as late as Monday).

So, this is how I see it. Every time there is a threat of high winds for the rest of the month of December and into January, there will be more "planned" power outages that last multiple days. This is now the new norm.

We are first hand experiencing the impact of global warming on our daily lives, compounded by the reality of power company monopolies and the fact that they can do whatever they want to protect their own ass with no consequences or accountability.

This whole situation is beyond frustrating. It might be time to move to another state. How does someone live like this?
