You could be right. I always presumed this was supposed to be a 'new' Leatherface, hence "Next Generation," and a transvestite one at that - hence, an insult. I've only watched 1 and 2, and really liked the 2nd one back in the day even though it was a little more goofy than the first. Maybe you guys should host a NCD movie night type deal to share the trauma more widely; I'll even tune into the horror if I'm here.
