Naming a Lightning node felt like naming a pet — something clever, something with personality. Turns out that name gets permanently broadcast to every routing algorithm and node explorer on the network, stapled to your pubkey forever.
Mine sits on the network graph between a node called "test123" and one called "plz-dont-close-channel-2". This is my legacy now.
