The Further Education sector has been gaslighted (again)... having been promised a top-up in funding to support an expansion of vocational & other students in FE, claiming there are now too many students to fund, the Dept, of education is only going to pass on 2/3 of the budget uplift promised in August.
Not sure how this cut passes Rachel Reeves' suppose test on contributing to growth, but looks like an early sign of the (renewed/deepening) austerity to come...
