Hmmm.... none of these things are given but rather are about the mores of the industry - my wife taught (student) fashion designers for nearly 25 years and I think its safe to say, when they left her they did not necessarily buy into these mores.... there is something else going on; whether it is the culture of the beers, or fashion editors is an interesting Q.
