On the official website for The Odyssey, you can play the trailer & swap back & forth between different formats, & I'll grant you, I bet it *does* look amazing in IMAX 70mm. Unfortunately, almost no one will be seeing it in that format.
Even the cropping for regular IMAX makes a lot of stuff look more cramped than the "intended format".
