There's people out there with jobs and nothing to live for 😏 we aren't our jobs. Surviving just for the sake of surviving is like building a really nice house just to burn it down when you're done. People need a purpose and an organism of people to be absorbed into. If you're alone living just for yourself and whatever hedonistic pleasures you can scrounge up, it's exceedingly empty and gets old quick. Even when you're a grumpy misanthrope like me who's gotten used to solitude. It becomes a hollow pointless existence where it would be easier and CHEAPER just to be dead because you don't really have any business here besides mindless consumerism.
