Relays are private property and have the right to decide their moderation rules.
However if a majority of relays choose heavy handed moderation, the end result could look very much like censorship.
Still, as long as the system remains decentralised and people are free to run relays with freer, lighter moderation... Nostr can still be the free speech protocol that we need.
