well remember it's not a situation where corporations of any kind rules the state. It's the state that rules them, however many favors the state does for them. It is a state accountable to no one but itself. Not the people. Not any one class. No one but itself. But everyone else, individually and collectively, is accountable to it.
Two societies that followed the exact model: Juan Peron's Argentina and General Park's South Korea. The scary thing about them? They worked. The middle classes and much of the working class are bought off with material comforts. In Park's Korea, only the most hardscrabble unions and students resisted. The rest were happy enough with their TVs and refridgerators to not upset the apple cart. Even businessmen bowed their heads to Park: if they so much as invested a single Won outside the country, they were sentenced to death. Perhaps even Singapore, esp. under Lee Kwan Yew, also is an example. In Yew's Singapore, even a CEO could be publicly whipped and canned for breaking certain laws. And often were. As is Chiang-Kai-Shek's Taiwan.
Everything in the state. Everything for the state. Nothing outside the state.
