Just wrapped up the kickoff of the Mercatus Center's Alexis de Tocqueville Fellowship on the Intersection of Bitcoin, Political Economy, and Philosophy.
Lots of new faces and stories shared. The participant mix was split pretty evenly across professionals and PHD candidates in each of the 3 focus areas.
The conversations I had were engaging and a good reminder of how early we still are in Bitcoin, and how a few lingering misconceptions (especially around energy) continue to hold many back from fully understanding its long-term value prop.
Really looking forward to the remainder of the Fellowship sessions & S/O to the many amazing people behind the scenes on this.
