The modern man seems to think making arguments from silence in regards to gender roles and sexuality is acceptable hermeneutically. Humanism and the elevation of man above God is at the root of so many societal ills. Your frame seems accurate to me and men need to stop being passive and take ownership and responsibility for their families and the world around them.
