I think there is some confusion here. When I say EU, I mean EU and all of its members. Its members have 1.3 million soldiers, and they are all sovereign countries. Ergo, they can do a lot, they could have won the war by now.
If EU, the union, cannot do anything it should shut up, and be closed down. It just costs money and has no use or relevance what so ever.
