The video was very illustrative. In many ways, I've got a much easier situation. A rain barrel that already filters out sticks & leaves, a fall in elevation instead of a rise, and not nearly that much distance to cover.
On the flip side, I need to make sure I don't run the pump too long each day, or I'll run the rain barrel dry. I need to figure out how I'm going to split the water lines so we can use the rain barrel for things other than this pump/drip irrigation system. My pump isn't submersible, so I need to keep it dry.
