I second jellyfin and kodi
For music, there's a host of options. Subsonic systems are good, but if you have home assistant, the music assistant add-on is great for in home.
I'm running most of my stuff on yunohost. It's easier to upgrade and maintain. Docker is my secondary on another computer.
I'm also using laptops. Built-in UPS and crash-cart.
