It fits requirements of af markdown editor with tabs and file tree in one interface.
It doesn't do crosslinking automatically, each file is edited on its own.
Otherwise any editor with markdown support, IDEs, emacs, vim, neovim, Kate, kedit and such with somewhat a learning curve if it is a first time ...
