I don't know if he think understands it or not, but the only way AI and robots could "eliminate poverty" and "make everyone wealthy" is in a money that can't be cheated like Bitcoin becasue all that productivity flows to you in a form of lower rices like @Jeff Booth explains.
In the fiat money system it's the opposite, all those gains will be taken away from you making you a modern day slave.
