But keeping sarcastic comments away.... this whole situation is fucked up on so many levels. Once the normies hear about this thing (which of course nobody will have a clue whats that all about), the one thing which breaks is sure:
Trust is broken!
If you cannot trust one of the main players in providing hardware wallets, what do you need to do? You need to do your own research. Sure, but do you really think normies will "do their own research"?
No, no they wont.
They will continue to shrug it off.
And dont get me started on the whole BIP-110.... do you really think ANYONE is getting this? NO. Definitely not. Even if you are doing your own research on BIP-110. You really need to be an expert in computer science stuff.
Im not saying this is over, but this is a very bad day for everybody who is "in the bitcoin space".
