If you measure #Bitcoin in dollars or in another fiat currency, it looks like Bitcoin has not been performing in recent times. But if you see all the #BTC circular economies popping up in different parts of the world, all the innovation related to #privacy and payments, #Nostr etc., it’s easy to see that Bitcoin is more valuable than ever before.

And the competing system, the world of fiat, is becoming more and more dystopian everywhere. Who cares what is the dollar value of Bitcoin, when you need a permission to use “your” dollars? And, similarly, who cares how many Twitter or Youtube followers an account has, when Twitter / Youtube can (and will) suppress the message if it contradicts their ethos of centralization?

Bitcoin liberates. Fiat enslaves. Trying to measure Bitcoin price in fiat currencies, is like trying to measure the value of fresh mountain air in exhaust fumes.
