It absolutely is. GT:NH is like the final boss of the OG minecraft tech modpacks. It's maddeningly difficult and they're running custom forks of nearly every mod in it so they're integrated into the progression. Not to mention they've backported nearly half of the modern vanilla game to 1.7.10.
