Thing is they are already starting that making tax digital bs next year anyway essentially forcing people to do 4 returns. That's already a pain in the arse if you work seasonally like me. So I can see them thinking in their ivory tower it wont be any extra hassle to make everyone their bloody taxman too.
If they do that though it will cripple small business and completely ruin the economy because it's about the only advantage you have against a large ones.
