To improve the docs:
1. They should maintain a tutorial in-house
2. They should write man pages complete with explanations of each feature in prose and some examples
For all its faults, git's man pages are comprehensive and illuminating, and anything which wants to bill itself as more accessible than git should at least match that in terms of docs
