Don't act like Musk or Thiel or Bezos can't be controlled by governments. They can be controlled by just about any random bum on the streets. They don't have power, they aren't impressive, or intimidating. All governments have to do is say "Your money is bad" and none of those billionaires can do shit about it.

This narrative like "Billionaires are so powerful and unstoppable and you should give up because they just can't be stopped oh no, by the way I'm on your side," is so sleazy.
